Terms of Service

Last updated: July 11, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and FlirtDojo ("we") for your use of flirtdojo.com and the game that lives there ("the Service"). By creating an account, playing or buying anything, you accept them. We have written them to be read: plain language first, fine print where the law needs it. If anything is unclear, ask us.

1. What FlirtDojo is

FlirtDojo is a training game for conversation skills. You spar in text with AI-generated characters ("personalities"), get scored, and receive AI-generated coaching. Every personality is fictional and computer-generated: none of them is a real person, their photos do not depict real people, and nothing they say is a statement by a human being. You are always talking to software, and we will never pretend otherwise.

The Service is operated by Admatic ApS (Danish company, CVR 38729705, VAT DK38729705), under the FlirtDojo brand. There are humans behind it, and you can always reach one via the contact page.

2. Age and eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the Service, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. By using the Service you confirm both. If we have reason to doubt your age we may ask you to verify it, and we close underage accounts when we find them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has used the Service, contact us: we will delete the account and refund payments made from it.

3. Your account

  • You can play as a guest or register with an email. Guest progress is tied to your browser and device; clear those and it can be gone. Register to keep your progress.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your login. Keep your password to yourself, and give us a working email, since that is how we reach you about your account.
  • Your account is personal. Do not sell, lend or share it, whether for money or for free.
  • Your account, levels, belts, badges and unlocks are a license to play, not property you own. They have no value outside the game.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which removes your profile and conversation history. See also section 19.

4. Plans, prices and billing

  • FlirtDojo has two tiers: Free and Premium. That is the whole menu. We do not sell credits, tokens, coins or any other virtual currency.
  • The free tier is free. No card is required to start playing.
  • Premium comes in two shapes. The Week Pass is a weekly subscription: 7 days of Premium at a time, renewing every week at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. The same renewal and cancellation rules as below apply, on a weekly cycle.
  • The Premium subscription is billed monthly at the price shown at checkout. It renews automatically at the end of each period and the renewal is charged on the first day of the new period, until you cancel. We run pricing experiments, so the offer in the product can be lower than the list price; the checkout price is always the one that counts.
  • Cancel anytime in your account settings with one tap. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Premium access until then. No cancellation fees, no retention maze.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe (stripe.com). Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers, and the seller on your receipt and bank statement is Admatic ApS, operating the Service as FlirtDojo.
  • Prices at checkout include VAT and local sales tax where applicable, in the currency shown there.
  • If a renewal payment fails repeatedly, your plan simply drops back to free. Nothing is deleted.
  • We never change the price of a running subscription mid-period. If your renewal price changes, we tell you by email or in the product at least 14 days before the next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Premium time we hand out as gifts, trials or promotions can be time-limited and revoked. A gift is not a purchase.

5. Free play and virtual items

  • Free play is generous but not endless: you start with an opening amount of play and it tops up daily. The exact amounts are game tuning and can change as we balance the dojo.
  • When your free play for the day runs out, you can come back tomorrow or upgrade to Premium. Nothing is lost while you wait.
  • Everything countable in the game (play quota, XP, levels, belts, badges, streaks, gift photos and other unlocks) is a game mechanic, not currency: no cash value, not transferable between accounts or people, not redeemable, not for sale.
  • Gifts and unlockables are earned through play, never bought. That is a design principle, not a missing feature.
  • Balances or perks we have granted as promotions or goodwill can be adjusted or revoked. Deleting your account ends your progression and any remaining Premium time with it.

6. Fair use

Premium includes unlimited sparring, and "unlimited" means what a human can reasonably play. To keep the dojo fast and affordable for everyone, we may slow down, cap or restrict usage patterns that no human produces: bots, scripts, automated prompting, shared accounts, or anything designed to extract maximum AI output rather than play the game. If a fair-use limit ever hits you as an ordinary player, tell us; that is a tuning error on our side and we will fix it.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. We make it simpler and more generous than the law requires:

  • First purchase, full refund: withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase of a plan (your first Week Pass or your first Premium month) and we refund the full amount, even if you have already played. Consumer law would let us deduct a proportional share for the days you used; we skip that deduction entirely.
  • Renewals: the statutory withdrawal right applies to the initial purchase, not to each automatic renewal. Instead, you can cancel any renewal with one tap in your account settings, and the plan simply ends at the period boundary. If a renewal caught you by surprise, talk to us; we are reasonable.
  • To withdraw, contact us with the email or account and the purchase you mean. A clear statement is enough; no form required. Refunds are paid out via Stripe to your original payment method within 14 days.
  • Repeat patterns designed to play for free (buy, binge, refund, repeat) can be declined to the extent the law allows.
  • The short, practical version of this section lives at flirtdojo.com/refunds.
  • Nothing here limits your mandatory rights under Danish or EU consumer law, including remedies for defective services.
  • Access lost because you broke these terms is not refunded (see section 13).
  • If a charge looks wrong, talk to us before disputing it with your bank. We answer fast and we are reasonable. Accounts with an open chargeback may be suspended until the dispute is resolved.

8. Acceptable use

The dojo has house rules. While using the Service, you agree that you will not:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to generate, request or extract unlawful content;
  • attempt to push the personalities into sexually explicit content. The Service is PG-13 by design: flirtation with a spark, never explicit. The product blocks it, and attempting it is a violation in itself;
  • attempt to sexualise minors in any way, including asking a personality to act underage. This is met with zero tolerance: immediate ban, and where the law requires it, a report to the authorities;
  • use the Service to harass, threaten, defame or spread hate against real people or groups, or to plan harm;
  • impersonate another person, or claim an affiliation with us that you do not have;
  • access the Service with bots, scripts or other automated means, or scrape, harvest or bulk-extract content from it;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise try to extract the source code, models or prompts behind the Service, except where the law expressly permits it;
  • circumvent security measures, rate limits, moderation, or payment and geo controls;
  • interfere with or overload the Service, or disrupt other players' use of it;
  • resell access or exploit the Service commercially without a written agreement with us.

9. What you upload

Some features let you upload content, for example a profile photo or pictures you share in a conversation. The rules are short:

  • Only upload what you have the right to use: your own photos, or content where everyone depicted has given you permission.
  • Never upload images of minors, sexually explicit images, other people's private information, or anything unlawful.
  • Uploads pass automated moderation and may be reviewed by trained staff if flagged. We may remove uploads that break these rules.
  • You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us the technical license to store, process and display it as the feature requires, for example so a personality can react to a photo you send.

10. Your content and our license

You own what you write and upload. So the game can work, you grant us a limited license to store, process, moderate and transmit your content within the Service, including to the AI infrastructure that generates replies and coach reports, and to show it back to you.

We do not sell your conversations. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. We do not use your private conversations to train AI models, ours or anyone else's, without asking you first. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example which openers score well) to improve the game. Details live in the Privacy Policy.

If you send us ideas or suggestions for the game, thank you: we may use them freely without obligation or compensation. That is what "feedback" means here.

11. AI content: limits and no guarantees

Conversations, photos of personalities, scores and coaching are generated by AI, on demand. AI output can be wrong, weird, repetitive, unfair or similar to what someone else receives. It is made for training and entertainment and is not professional advice of any kind: not psychological, not medical, not legal, and not a guarantee that any line works on an actual date.

Our moderation may block or alter inputs and outputs, for example when a request seeks prohibited content. Scores, heat meters and judge verdicts are game mechanics, not judgments of you as a person.

12. A game, not the real world

The personalities are fiction. They can be charming, but there is software on the other side, not a person, and whatever bond a session builds is part of the game. FlirtDojo is built to sharpen you for real conversations with real people, not to replace them.

If playing starts crowding out your actual life, or you are struggling, step away and talk to someone real. The dojo will still be here. The Service is not a crisis service: if you are in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line.

13. Moderation and enforcement

Automated systems watch for content and behaviour that break these terms. Flagged content may be reviewed by humans. Depending on severity, we may warn you, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate the account, and in serious cases (such as content sexualising minors) report to the authorities.

We tell you what rule you broke unless the law prevents us. If you think we got it wrong, complain to us and a human will re-review the decision. Paid access lost because of your violation is not refunded.

14. Our content

The Service, including its personalities, artwork, names, game mechanics, copy and code, belongs to FlirtDojo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You get a personal, non-transferable license to play, which ends if you seriously breach these terms. Do not copy, redistribute or commercially exploit the Service or its content beyond normal personal use, and do not use the FlirtDojo name or logo to imply endorsement.

Screenshots of your own results are obviously fine. That is half the fun.

15. Changes to the game and to these terms

  • The game evolves continuously: features, personalities and content are added, changed and retired. No refund is owed because a particular personality changed or left the dojo.
  • We may change these terms. For material changes we give at least 14 days notice by email or in the product before they take effect. Keep playing after that and you have accepted them.
  • If you do not accept a material change, delete your account before it takes effect; if such a change cuts into a period you already paid for, we refund the unused part.
  • Corrections and legal housekeeping that do not affect your rights can take effect when posted, with the date above updated.

16. Availability and disclaimers

We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any output meets your expectations. Maintenance, updates and outages at the third parties we build on (AI infrastructure, payments, hosting) can affect the Service, and your own connection and device are yours to manage. None of this limits rights that consumer law gives you regardless.

17. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer. Mirror-wise: if your unlawful use of the Service drags us into claims from others, you cover the reasonable costs of that mess.

18. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe as our payment provider, and if you sign in through a third party (for example Google), their terms govern that login. The Service may link to external sites; a link is not an endorsement, and their terms and privacy policies apply there, not ours.

19. Termination

  • You can leave anytime by deleting your account in settings. That removes your profile and conversation history; remaining Premium time lapses with the account, so check section 7 first if you just bought something.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, as described in section 13, and we say why unless the law prevents it.
  • Guest accounts that have been inactive for a long time may be cleaned up together with their data.
  • Sections that by nature outlive the agreement (content licenses, liability, disputes) survive termination.

20. Governing law, disputes and the rest

These terms are governed by Danish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply, and disputes can be brought before the competent courts there or in Denmark. You can also complain to the consumer complaints bodies in your country; in Denmark that is Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager and Forbrugerklagenævnet via naevneneshus.dk, when their conditions are met.

Before any of that: talk to us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding or a bug, and we fix both quickly.

If a provision of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still stands. These terms are the entire agreement about the Service between you and us. We may transfer the agreement to a successor that takes over the Service with the same obligations; you will be notified if that happens.

Your contracting party is Admatic ApS, Pårupvej 44, DK-5540 Ullerslev, Denmark, CVR 38729705, operating the Service as FlirtDojo. Questions about these terms: flirtdojo.com/contact.

Short version: be 18 or older, be decent, remember that everyone in here is fictional except you. Train hard.
